These terms govern your use of WhyFill. We wrote them in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay.

What WhyFill is

WhyFill is form-preparation software. You answer questions in plain language, and we put your answers into the official government form. You then review the completed form, pay our fee, and download a file that is ready for you to sign and file.

WhyFill is a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency.

What WhyFill is not

WhyFill is not a law firm, and nobody here gives you legal advice. This service is not a substitute for an attorney.

We do not tell you which form you need, whether you qualify for anything, or how to answer a question. We explain what a field means. The answers and the decisions are yours.

We are not a filing service. We never submit anything to a government agency for you, and we never contact an agency on your behalf.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your answers. We fill the form with what you give us, so check every answer before you sign.

You must review the completed form yourself, sign it yourself, and file it yourself with the agency that asks for it.

You pay any government filing fees separately, directly to the agency.

Fees and refunds

We charge per form or per pack. The price is always shown before you pay, and it is a one-time charge, not a subscription.

Our fee covers the form-preparation software only. Government filing fees are always separate and always paid by you to the agency.

Refunds: if you paid but have not downloaded your final, unwatermarked PDF yet, we refund you in full. After the final download, contact us and we will look at it case by case. That is our refund policy, not a legal entitlement.

Your account

Sign-in is managed by Clerk, our authentication provider. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion removes your profile data, aside from records the law requires us to keep.

Acceptable use

Use WhyFill for your own forms, or for forms you are authorized to prepare for someone else, such as a family member or a client your business serves.

Do not use the service to prepare forms you have no right to file, to scrape our catalog, or to resell the service as your own.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We are not responsible for agency decisions, processing times, or outcomes. No one can promise a government agency's decision, and we do not.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
