Accessibility

Government forms are hard enough. The site that helps with them should work for everyone.
Our commitment
We are building WhyFill to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the standard we hold ourselves to across the site and the guided interviews.
What we do today
- Pages are built with semantic HTML, so screen readers get real headings, labels, and landmarks.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus states.
- Text contrast meets at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- Motion respects your system setting. If you prefer reduced motion, animations turn off and all content stays visible.
Known gaps
This is a new site. A full accessibility audit is in progress, and we expect it to find problems we have missed.
The completed forms themselves are official government PDFs. We do not control how accessible those documents are, and some are not fully accessible to screen readers.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site blocks you, tell us. Describe the page and what happened, and we will fix it or find you another way.
